We had both been through decades of career achievements, leading organizations, building teams, and seeing God work in remarkable ways. But somewhere along the way, we noticed something troubling: too many of our peers were drifting.
Some had retired early and found themselves bored. Others stayed busy but felt like they were just running out the clock. And a few, honestly, had become shadows of the impactful leaders they once were.
We didn't want that for ourselves. And we didn't want it for the high-capacity leaders we'd come to know and respect.
So we started asking: What would it look like to finish well? Not just to stay active, but to be truly strategic about the decades we might still have? What would it mean to move from being the one in charge to being the one who multiplies — pouring into rising leaders who could carry the torch further than we ever could?
That question became the foundation for the Sage Stage.
We wrote the book to capture the framework. But the Forum exists because we know this journey is too important to walk alone. You need peers. You need accountability. You need a community that gets it.
That's what we've built — and we'd be honored to walk this road with you.
